EDGEAhead 10K and 5K
10k record is 33m 9 sec set by Tom Humphreys in 2005. Now in its 6th year, EDGEAhead is not an AA race but a charity event. Results from 2009and 2010 can be seen at www.edgmond10k.co.uk.
10k route starts on road and moves on to track within 1k. It is then mainly track until 4k when it reverts to road (public & private) for the remainder of the course.
5k route is all on road (public & private).
Plenty of free parking, fully marshalled, St John in attendance, indoor registration and toilets.
A fun and friendly race, ideal for first timers and couples who like to do different distances!
