Wrekin Fell Race
Starting from Ercall Wood School, nearly 100 athletes ran over the Ercall, then all the way up the Wrekin and then back again for the Wrekin Fell Race.
Noel Hogan was Newport’s only representative on this occasion and had an excellent run to scale the hill to run round the trig point at the summit and return to the school in 48m 25s and gain 19th place.
