Milford 21
Cannock Chase hosted the Milford 21 off road race recently and conditions were just what the athletes would have wanted for the terrain and distance. Maurice Reid, Gary Postins and Paul Parkinson were amongst over 100 others who set off on a sunny morning and cover the distance over some rough terrain with a few steady climbs along the way.
Gary and Maurice seemed to have a little battle of their own throughout the race with Gary only just ahead and Maurice pushing him all the way to the finish line.
They both did well, but Gary just held on to be 16th in 2hr 39m 38s with Maurice 17th just under a minute behind in 2hr 40m 36s.
Paul Parkinson was a little further down the field, but also had a good run to finish in 3hr 06m 54s and achieve 56th position.
